Kelly Armstrong Earns Endorsement of the NRA for Governor Campaign

U.S. Representative Kelly Armstrong and ND Representative Michelle Strinden announced the Armstrong-Strinden ticket earned the endorsement of the National Rifle Association (NRA) in the Republican primary for North Dakota governor. This endorsement underscores their commitment to supporting the second amendment and recognizing our right to bear arms.  

“Congressman Armstrong has been an ardent supporter of the Second Amendment and hunting rights at every level of his public service,” said NRA-PVF Chairman Randy Kozuch. “In elected office, Armstrong has been a committed friend of law-abiding gun owners and has rightly earned their support in the upcoming election. With Kelly Armstrong in the Governor’s Office, the Second Amendment will be safe in North Dakota. Kelly Armstrong is battle-tested in our fight to defend our rights, He also understands the serious threats posed to the Second Amendment and can be trusted to stand strong to protect the fundamental rights of law-abiding North Dakotans. Simply put, North Dakotans have a relentless champion of the Second Amendment with Kelly Armstrong.”


“I am grateful the Armstrong-Strinden ticket has earned the endorsement of the National Rifle Association,” said Kelly Armstrong. “I have been an ardent supporter of the second amendment my entire political career. I have fought against the far left on unconstitutional red flag laws, assault weapon bans, and national registry of firearms. As governor, I will continue to push back on legislation or initiatives that infringe second amendment rights of law abiding gun owners.”

Additionally, Armstrong has supported important legislation and initiatives such as constitutional carry, nationwide reciprocity for concealed carry, and supported defunding the ATF until the repeal of the retroactive pistol brace rule.
